Privacy policy

This policy describes how The Bulk Toolkit("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use dev-qa.thebulktoolkit.com. It applies alongside our Terms of use, including subscription and refund policy.

Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, password hash (for email sign-up), verification status, plan tier, and usage quotas.
  • Authentication:identifiers from Google Sign-In when you choose that option (subject to Google's policies).
  • Payment records: when you purchase Premium, we receive and store Razorpay order ID, payment ID, amount, currency, billing interval (month/year), and payment status. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN — Razorpay processes those.
  • Uploaded files: images, PDFs, audio, or video you submit for server-side processing, plus derived outputs, for the duration needed to complete jobs and per your plan retention window.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and server logs for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
  • Advertising:if you are not on a paid plan, we may show promotional content or Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies per Google's policies. Paid users do not see ads.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, authenticate, and secure your account
  • Process files you submit and deliver downloads
  • Enforce plan limits, quotas, and billing entitlements
  • Process Premium payments and support refund requests
  • Send verification, password-reset, or service emails when configured
  • Improve reliability, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations

Payments (Razorpay)

Premium purchases are handled by Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay, your browser opens Razorpay's secure checkout. Razorpay's privacy policy and terms apply to payment data they collect. We receive only what is needed to confirm payment and activate your Premium period. For refunds, see our 3-day cancellation policy (refunds processed in 5–7 working days after approval).

Subscriptions and billing records

Premium is a prepaid access period, not a stored payment mandate. We keep billing records (order ID, payment ID, plan interval, period end date) for accounting, support, fraud prevention, and refund handling, typically for the period required by tax and payment regulations. You may request information about your purchases by emailing support@thebulktoolkit.com.

Retention and deletion

  • Job files:deleted after your plan's retention window (e.g. 24 hours Free, 7 days Premium) or sooner after download on some plans.
  • Account data: retained while your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting us.
  • Payment records: retained as needed for legal, tax, and dispute resolution obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the product (hosting, email, payment processing via Razorpay, cloud storage for media outputs), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users' safety. Those providers are bound to use data only for the services they provide to us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; use strong passwords and do not upload data you cannot risk exposing.

Your choices

You may update profile details, verify your email, or contact us to access, correct, or delete account information where applicable law allows. Browser-based tools may process files locally without uploading them to our servers.
